May you always have an inexhaustible supply of Premimum fuel.

A gas station selling 85 octane as regular unleaded is mildly terrifying. I didn’t even notice the typo at first. I’ve never seen less than 87 octane being sold as regular unleaded.

It’s Colorado. Something something altitude.
I’ve always run 85 in every car I’ve owned (that didn’t require premium) and never had an issue, FWIW.

Interesting. Here in PA every place sells 87-89-91, except for Sunoco which also sells 93 or 94.

This was in Grand Junction, on the Western slope. Here where I live it’s about 40 cents cheaper.

Hmm, everywhere I’ve lived has had 87-89-93, except Sunoco which also sells 91.

Interesting. I’ll have to pay more attention to the premium grades. All I know is that 87 is regular and 89 is mid-grade.

Here in relatively car friendly Germany it’s over $6 a gallon US... For regular 95 octane (91 using the US octane units).

I came here to say almost exactly the same things.

Colorado: Putting the “high” in higher grade fuel descriptions.
Seriously, read it in Snoop’s voice.

It was $3.01(for 93 no less) last time I filled up in NJ. And that’s after they just jacked up the gas tax by like $0.30-0.40

That is hilarious!

It was $2.51 at the station I fueled at this morning on the east side of Denver. It’s still in the $2.30 range in Wyoming, at least it was last Friday.
